Venerate. It’s Christ we adore; Christ and only Christ: ‘We adore you, and we bless you, because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.’
We also – each Sunday after Mass – adore prayerfully, with the intention of making reparations, the Holy Face of Jesus, brought before the faithful’s eyes, in an icon of the sacred impression made of his face, on the day of His passion and death.
