This Sunday after Mass: Davenport Latin Mass Community Picnic

Looking forward to spending time with you all after Mass this Sunday, August 4th for the picnic at Marquette Park.  (Before I have to run off to the 2:00 Iowa City TLM) If you have not done so, please sign up on the link below to let us know what you can bring for this family gathering.

Also, if you have been thinking about inviting a friend to visit the Latin Mass, this may be a good one to do so where they can meet our church family in a fun, relaxing setting. Mass today will be Low, so we can start the picnic sooner. There is a shelter at the park, a playground and grill pits. The duck creek walkway nearby.

Lastly, we are having some exciting games for kids of all ages!! Looking for some help with the following:

1. Would anyone be up for bringing water balloons already filled for a water balloon toss?
2. Looking for a few “Fit Fathers” to be willing to wear a t-shirt that has candy taped to it and be chased around by hoardes of children! 🤣😂🤣😅
3. Relay races? Three legged race? Frisbee toss?

Also, there is a baseball field by our pavilion.
Feel free to bring your equipment if you want to play a game of softball. 🙂
Or any fun games will do that you would like to play, even kickball, wiffle ball, frisbee etc!

And don’t forget to bring blankets or chairs for extra seating!
