Mass of the Feast of the Ascension, a holy day of obligation, will again be observed as an external solemnity this year on Sunday, 12 May.

Adoration, Rosary and Minor Litany at 11:00 am

Davenport, Holy Family: Catechism, 9:30, Confessions 10:25, Rosary 10:35, High Mass 11:00. Holy Face reparations and Fellowship Meal downstairs after Mass.
Iowa City, St Patrick: Rosary 2:05, Confessions 2:10, Low Mass with hymns, 2:30. Potluck in Hall, after Mass.

Note: next week in Davenport will be our May Crowning- or crownings- firstly, inside at the beginning of Mass; then outside, after a procession up Fillmore Street, to the hospital grounds, like last year. Girls may carry a flower for Mary, there. Boys, a flower- or their rosaries. After prayer and Salve Regina, we’ll have cupcakes, juice, coffee over by the bar b que grill. Please consider bringing some cupcakes to share.
